Bansko Information
The town of Bansko is 160km from Sofia, near the river Glazane and at the foot of the Pirin Mountain (936m above sea level).
Bansko is a listed World Heritage site and has unique architecture and history. The Old Town has a rustic charm with narrow paved streets where visitors can experience a little of Bulgaria.
Within the town there are numerous restaurants and 'methanas' serving food prepared to local recipes. The Mountain Dream Hotel bars and restaurants can be used or self cater in your apartment.
Visit Winter or Summer - English Guides Available
In winter the excellent ski facilities make Bansko a favourite ski and snow board destination. There are also biathlon and cross country skiing events. For extreme skiers there is a 'fun-park' zone. We can arrange all your requirements including skis and passes at very good rates.
It's also a great place to visit in summer with hot crystal clear days and plenty of sun. We can arrange short half day trips to full week activities. This could include mountain biking, walking, shooting, fishing, camping and of course sunbathing.
English guides and drivers are available all year to advise and help with your arrangements.
